Kino Zukunft is a one-room Programmkino (arthouse cinema) at Neue Zukunft, a venue on Alt-Stralau in Friedrichshain that combines cinema, art, concerts and a bar. The site also has an open-air cinema, the Freiluftkino Neue Zukunft. The cinema is run by the operator of the Tilsiter Lichtspiele, and with Tilsiter Lichtspiele and Kino Intimes it forms what the operator calls the kinoachse Friedrichshain.
The room, Zukunft 1, has 64 seats. Kino Zukunft places itself between the S-Bahn stations Ostkreuz and Treptower Park, by the Parkwegbrücke over the Spree. The Neue Zukunft contact page gives the venue's address and contact details.
The cinema notes that films without a language label are shown in German, and it marks other language versions OmdU or OmeU. Neither label by itself means English audio. Our listings here are for English-audio screenings.
