About this cinema

Bundesplatz-Kino is a single-screen programme cinema on Bundesplatz in Berlin. The cinema says it opened in 1919 and was renovated in 2011. Its programme takes in current arthouse films, classics and international productions, with special events alongside. It also has a café, with seating in the foyer by the large windows and, in summer, outside.

The auditorium has 87 seats, and seating is unassigned. There is one wheelchair space, and the cinema asks you to phone ahead to reserve it. Bundesplatz-Kino says the cinema can be entered step-free through the right-hand entrance door, but the toilets are not accessible because of narrow doors. Its Unser Kino page has the room and access details.

The cinema lists the U-Bahn and S-Bahn station Bundesplatz, served by the U9 and the S41, S42 and S46, and bus 248. Bundesplatz-Kino's own programme includes German-language films. Our listings here are for its English-audio screenings.
